About

I'm a 3D environment artist and art director with a specialty in real time technology. As an art director and supervisor, I find myself at my best when I am leading a team to create amazingly beautiful visuals across the film and game industries. As an Unreal Authorized Instructor who has taught thousands of students, I have a passion for helping others grow and succeed. I'm comfortable both in front of the camera and behind the camera and if I had to describe myself in one word, it would be: storyteller.

  • Environment Artist / Unreal Engine Developer at JB Hunt Transport
    Lowel, United States of America
    August 2018 - January 2020

I work as part of the VR team at JB Hunt. We build virtual reality experiences for practical, educational, and marketing purposes. I play the role of local Unreal Engine 4 expert. I develop core systems for game mechanics in both C++ and Blueprint in addition to managing source control and build pipelines. I am also the primary 3D artist on the team with a focus on environment art. Together with my team we build and optimize virtual reality experiences to serve the transportation industry.

  • Instructor: Game Development in Unreal Engine 4 at PIXEL: A School for Media Arts
    Rogers
    July 2017 - January 2020

I teach classes in game development using Unreal Engine 4 to the younger generation of students (ages 10-15). In my classes, students start by learning the basics of working within the Unreal Engine. Once we have that nailed down, we move to cover subjects such as level design, complex material building, and Blueprint. We also cover subjects such as teamwork and the different roles within a game development team.
